Ruben Goethals

Ruben Goethals has extensive experience in both nursing and software development. Currently serving as a Verpleegkundige at AZ West since July 2022, Ruben previously volunteered at Familiezorg West-Vlaanderen, providing support for daily living activities. Ruben holds a Bachelor of Nursing from VIVES University of Applied Sciences, completed in July 2022, and is pursuing a postgraduate degree in Emergency Care and Intensive Care. Prior to nursing, Ruben built a strong IT background working in various roles, including Project Leader and Senior Developer at JUMIK, Software Engineer at Prosoft IT Design bvba, and Hulpdienstverantwoordelijke at Rode Kruis-Vlaanderen, demonstrating a blend of technical skills and healthcare knowledge.
