Henrik Torp Nielsen

Henrik Torp Nielsen brings more than 15 years of pharmaceutical industry experience to Azafaros as well as experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry. He has significant international and cross-functional knowledge gained from a number of high-profile finance roles in many different countries, covering everything from Commercial, Business Development, and Innovation to Medical, Market Access, Manufacturing, and Development.

Henrik’s latest role with Novartis in Switzerland was European Head of Business Development (Finance) for Oncology. Within this role he supported and closed several major business development deals. Henrik has also held other senior roles at Novartis, including Chief Financial Officer and Head of Commercial and Medical Finance. Before moving to Switzerland, he worked for 10 years for the Kellogg Company in Denmark, the UK, and the US.

Henrik obtained his master’s degree in Economics and Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School in Denmark.
