Jehanzeb Awan

Jehanzeb Awan has a diverse work experience in the financial services industry. Jehanzeb is currently the Founder and CEO of Azakaw, a company that focuses on governance, risk, compliance, and financial reporting matters. Jehanzeb is also the CEO of J. Awan & Partners, the parent company of Azakaw. Prior to these roles, Jehanzeb served as the Regional Head of Compliance for Morgan Stanley's businesses in the MENA region. Jehanzeb was responsible for managing regulatory exposure, delivering key regulatory acquisitions, and developing effective relationships with regulators. Before that, they were the Head of Compliance at the National Bank of Dubai (now Emirates NBD), where they built the regulatory function and provided strategic support to senior management. Overall, Jehanzeb Awan's expertise lies in compliance, risk management, and regulatory matters in the financial sector.

Jehanzeb Awan obtained their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Arizona, where they studied from 1995 to 1998.
