Mangala Wickramasinghe

Mangala Wickramasinghe currently serves as the Group Chief Information Officer at Diesel & Motor Engineering PLC since January 2019 and holds the position of Director at Azend Technologies since April 2021. As a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Moratuwa since April 2012, Mangala also possesses extensive experience in the banking sector, having held roles such as Head of Digital Banking and Head of Payment Cards & Electronic Delivery Channels at Hatton National Bank PLC from May 2013 to December 2018. Additionally, Mangala was appointed Chairman of the FinTech committee by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka from June 2017 to December 2018. Previous experience includes roles such as Head of Enterprise IT at Sampath Bank PLC, Chief Operating Officer at Hayleys InfoCraft Limited, and Group Information Systems Manager at Excel Global Holdings, along with prior positions at Unilever Sri Lanka Limited.
