Violetta Hughes is an accomplished finance leader with extensive experience in accounting and external reporting. Currently serving as Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer at Azenta Life Sciences since January 2023, Violetta oversees all accounting functions, including audits, SEC reporting, and compliance with SOX and US GAAP, presenting complex matters to the Audit Committee. Prior roles include Vice President Finance and Chief Accounting Officer at Akebia Therapeutics, and Senior Vice President of Accounting and Corporate Controller at AMAG Pharmaceuticals, where responsibilities encompassed comprehensive accounting oversight and management of extensive teams.
