Aydin Huseynov

Aydin Huseynov has extensive work experience in the aviation industry. Aydin is currently serving as the Director of Ground Operations at Azerbaijan Airlines since August 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Qatar Airways as the Vice President of Cargo Operations from December 2022 to August 2023.

Before joining Qatar Airways, Aydin held various roles at Silk Way West Airlines. Aydin served as the Vice President of Global Cargo Logistics & Standards from August 2020 to December 2022, and earlier as the Director of Cargo & Ground Handling Operations from April 2012 to August 2020.

Aydin started their career at Baku Cargo Terminal, where they worked as the Deputy Chief of Analytics and Project Support Department from July 2010 to April 2012, and as the Deputy Chief of Legal Department from January 2010 to July 2010.

Prior to their career in the aviation industry, Aydin worked as a Legal Associate at Corporate Legal Consultancy LLC from August 2008 to January 2010.

Aydin Huseynov's education history begins with a bachelor's degree in Jurisprudence, which they obtained from Baku State University between 2001 and 2005. Aydin then went on to pursue a master's degree in Jurisprudence from the same university, which they completed from 2005 to 2007.

In 2017, Aydin obtained a certification in Managing Air Cargo Operations from the International Air Transport Association (IATA). In 2014, they also received certifications in IOSA Airline Auditor Training from Aviation Quality Services and Station/Ground Handling Management from IATA. Furthermore, in 2012, Aydin obtained a certification in Safety and Quality Audit for Ground Operation from the Luxembourg Aviation Safety Agency (ALSA).

Recently, from 2020 to 2022, Aydin pursued a Master of Science degree in Procurement, Supply Chain & Logistics from The University of Salford.
