Giyafat Kheyirkhabarli

Giyafat Kheyirkhabarli has a diverse work experience in the legal field. In 2014, they started as a Legal Intern at the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan. They then worked as a Specialist at the Baku 2015 European Games Operations Committee from August 2014 to June 2015. In 2016, they became a Leading Legal Adviser at the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan until July 2018. From July 2018 to September 2019, they served as the Chief Legal Adviser and then as the Head of Legal Unit at the State Tourism Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Currently, Giyafat Kheyirkhabarli holds the position of Head of Legal Unit at Azerbaijan Airlines since November 2023.

Giyafat Kheyirkhabarli completed a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree at Baku State University from 2010 to 2014. In 2018, they attended the Riga Graduate School of Law for the Advanced Programme in Law and Economics. Giyafat is currently pursuing a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in International Economic Law at Queen Mary University of London, with an expected completion date in 2023.
