Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB)

Rashad Aliyev has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Rashad'smost recent position was as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer at the Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB), where they started in September 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Executive Assistant to the Chairman of the State Tourism Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Additionally, Rashad served as the Chairman of the Board at ICOMOS Azerbaijan, an organization dedicated to the conservation of cultural heritage places. Earlier in their career, they held various managerial positions in companies such as Nin Chocolate and AVOA LLC - "Ukrayna Məhsulları" Specialized Supermarket Chain. Rashad also has experience in the hospitality industry, having worked in roles such as Director of Quality at Join.In Hospitality Management and Cost Controller at the Glion Institute of Higher Education. Rashad started their career as a Management Trainee at InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG®).

Rashad Aliyev began their education in 2012 at the Glion Institute of Higher Education, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Hospitality Management with Finance and Revenue Management. This program lasted until 2015.

In 2023, Rashad enrolled at the Azerbaijan Tourism and Management University to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Tourism and Hospitality Management. Rashad completed this program in 2025.

Additionally, in July 2022, Rashad obtained a certification in "The Protection of Cultural Property in Armed Conflict and Occupation" from the Azerbaijan Creative Industries Federation.
