Azer Aliyev

Azer Aliyev is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in the oil and gas sector. Currently serving as Finance Manager at Azercell Telecom LLC since September 2023, Azer manages the Financial Reporting, Treasury, and Risk Management sections. Prior experience includes Finance Director at JOCAP from August 2018 to September 2023, where responsibilities encompassed leadership of the finance team and participation in executive decision-making for a major joint venture between SOCAR and TOTAL. Other roles included Senior Financial Reporting and Audit Specialist at SOCAR UPSTREAM and various audit positions at EY, where expertise in IFRS and GAAP standards was developed. Azer holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Audit from Azerbaijan State Economic University.
