Ilgar Hashimov

Ilgar Hashimov is currently the Group Head of Reporting at "AzerGold"​ CJSC since November 2023. Concurrently, Ilgar serves as an Adjunct Lecturer in the SABAH group at Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC), teaching Financial Accounting since September 2021. Previously, Ilgar held the position of Finance Director at Foodcity Alliance LLC from September 2022 to October 2023 and Chief Financial Reporting Specialist at Azerbaijan Railways from December 2021 to September 2022, focusing on IFRS Reporting and management reporting. Ilgar also contributed as Management Information Systems Lead Specialist at PASHA Bank OJSC from December 2020 to December 2021, preparing financial reports in accordance with IFRS. Prior experience includes the role of Audit Associate 3 at KPMG Azerbaijan from October 2017 to November 2020, specializing in diverse sectors such as Oil & Gas and Banking. Academically, Ilgar holds a Master’s degree in International Financial and Currency-Credit relations from UNEC and a Bachelor's degree in World Economy from Baku Engineering University.
