Oruj Eyvazov

Oruj Eyvazov currently serves as the Head of Risk Management & Internal Control Department at AzerGold CJSC, overseeing the organization’s risk management and internal controls since April 2024. Prior experience includes roles at PMD Group LLC as a Senior Auditor, Leading Internal Auditor, and Internal Auditor from February 2019 to December 2023. Previously, Oruj worked at BCC-GRP as a QA/QC Coordinator and HSE Specialist, focusing on quality assurance and compliance with safety regulations from January 2016 to November 2018. Oruj began a professional journey at BP as a PREP Trainee in Geological Engineering, gaining valuable experience in oil and gas methodologies from September 2014 to August 2015. Oruj holds a Bachelor's degree in Geological Engineering from Azerbaijan State Oil Academy and a degree in Petroleum Engineering from Heriot-Watt University.
