Iain Thomson is currently the Associate Director at Azets, where they provide tax solutions to a diverse clientele, including small and medium-sized enterprises, overseas companies operating in the UK, charities, housing associations, and subsidiaries of listed companies. Iain has extensive experience in tax planning from their previous role as Senior Tax Manager at Scott-Moncrieff from 2000 to 2015, as well as having served as Tax Assistant Manager at Ernst & Young from 1995 to 2000. They began their career as a CA Trainee at KM Stewart & Co from 1990 to 1995. Iain holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accountancy from Glasgow Caledonian University and has completed their training with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.
