Cristiano Pianezzi

Cristiano Pianezzi has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Cristiano is currently serving as the Head of Energy Data Management at Azienda Elettrica Ticinese since May 2018. Prior to this, they worked at Avaloq Sourcing (Switzerland & Liechtenstein) Ltd for over a decade, where they held multiple positions including Head of Cutover Management, Senior Technology Project Manager, Senior Test & Release Manager, and Test Manager. Before that, they worked as an RF Engineer at Schmid & Partner Engineering AG (SPEAG), where they conducted compliance testing, SAR evaluation of handheld devices, and researched and developed waveguide systems. Cristiano also worked as an R&D RF Engineer at Ascom Systec AG, Applicable Research & Technology, where they focused on antenna development and the analysis of RF interference effects.

Cristiano Pianezzi obtained their Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering ETH with specialization in HF, Antennas, and EM Wave Propagation from ETH Zurich. Cristiano completed this degree from 1994 to 1999. Cristiano also pursued an Engineer's Degree in Computer and Information Systems from ETH Zurich, which they obtained from 2003 to 2004.
