Giorgio Medda

Giorgio Medda is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in asset management and equity research. Since June 2007, Giorgio has served as the CEO and Global Head of Asset Management & Fintech at Azimut, overseeing operations in the MENAT region with a team exceeding 70 professionals in multiple offices, including Istanbul, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Cairo. Prior to this role, Giorgio was a Portfolio Manager at AZCM, the fund management arm of Azimut Holding Group. From April 2001 to May 2007, Giorgio held the position of Director of Equity Research at Credit Suisse, focusing on Mediterranean Utilities and European Infrastructure. Giorgio's career began at Mediobanca as an Italian Telecoms analyst from January 1999 to April 2001. Giorgio's educational background includes a degree from Università Bocconi and an exchange program in Corporate Finance at ESSEC Business School.
