Matt Thomas has been in the creative and marketing industry for over two decades. In 2000, they began their career as Creative Director at Matt Thomas Direct. In 2009, they took on the same role at Darkstar Skateboards, where they managed branding strategies, oversaw product seasons, initiated artist collaborations, and managed outside brand licensing relationships. In 2015, they became Creative Director at AZIONE, a PR agency, where they conceptualized and created seasonal strategies for influencer marketing, designed unique products with packaging, and illustrated experiential event spaces. In 2018, they took on the role of Marketing Director at Madness Skateboards and in 2020 they assumed the same role at Hazard Wheels.
Matt Thomas attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 1994 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Communications. Matt then attended Otis College of Art and Design from 2003 to 2005 for Continuing Education in Fine/Studio Arts, General.
