Tanya Smith Dnp, Aprn, Agacnp-Bc, Achpn

Tanya Smith, DNP, APRN, AGACNP-BC, ACHPN, has extensive experience in nursing and healthcare education. Currently serving as an AHA Instructor for HeartSaver, BLS, ACLS, and PALS at the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association since May 2012, Tanya teaches essential CPR and advanced resuscitation techniques. In addition, Tanya has been a Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner, Hospitalist Advanced Practice Provider, and Clinical Nurse Educator at Kingman Regional Medical Center since May 2000, where responsibilities include teaching various nursing courses and administering critical care. Tanya holds a Doctorate of Nursing Practice, a Master’s Degree in Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, and a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing, all from Grand Canyon University.
