Sander van Eck

Sander Van Eck is an experienced actuary and entrepreneur currently working at AZL since September 2023 and as the founder of MyChefsbase, a software provider designed to assist chefs and restaurant operators. Previously, Sander held positions as a software engineer at Hi There, an actuary at Kleynen Consultants, and a digital strategy consultant at Royal HaskoningDHV. Sander also contributed as a teaching assistant at Erasmus School of Economics, instructing undergraduate students in various economics subjects, and wrote articles for the Asset Management Study Association. Academic qualifications include an Executive Master in Actuarial Sciences and a PrEMAS in Actuarial Science and Mathematical Finance from Actuarieel Instituut, along with an International Bachelor of Economics and Business Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam. Sander's educational experience further includes a brief study at the University of Buenos Aires.
