Sebastiaan van den Dries

Sebastiaan van den Dries is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the pension and financial advisory sectors. Currently serving as CEO at AZL since February 2024, Sebastiaan previously held the CEO position at BeFrank from March 2021 to January 2024. Prior to that, Sebastiaan was a Director at ING CDC Pensioenfonds & NN CDC Pensioenfonds from January 2018 to February 2021, and managed the DC Plan at Shell from April 2013 to January 2018. Experience also includes a directorial role at Deloitte's Pension Advisory team from October 2008 to March 2013 and consultancy positions at OC&C Strategy Consultants and Arthur Andersen. Sebastiaan holds an MSc in both Economics and Econometrics from Erasmus University Rotterdam and is a Chartered Financial Analyst, certified from the CFA Institute.
