Tyler Tait

Tyler Tait has extensive experience in IT management and leadership roles. Tyler is currently the SVP of IT at AZOVA, starting in November 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Valley Behavioral Health where they held various positions including CIO, Interim CIO, and IT Manager from November 2015 to November 2022. At Valley Behavioral Health, Tyler was responsible for managing the IT infrastructure and help desk for a progressive mental and behavioral health non-profit organization.

Before joining Valley Behavioral Health, Tyler worked as the IT Director at Companion Dx Reference Lab, LLC from September 2012 to November 2015. There, they managed the IT department of a genetic molecular diagnostic lab, overseeing the expansion of the team to support the company's growth in personalized medicine.

From June 2010 to September 2012, Tyler served as a Senior Research Manager at Pioneer Hi-Bred International Inc. In this role, they led a liaison team between the IT department and genetic research scientists, implementing a new Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) that resulted in significant cost savings and improved efficiency.

Tyler also has experience in the biotech industry, having served as the Director of Information Systems at Axial Biotech. During their time there from January 2005 to June 2010, they managed the IT infrastructure and bioinformatics, developed custom LIMS software for a genetic screening test, and also held the position of IT Manager.

Their earlier career includes roles as IT Manager at Taueret Laboratories from February 2004 to January 2005, IT Manager at Nichols, Inc from May 2003 to February 2004, and Network Administrator at emerGen from August 2000 to April 2003.

Tyler Tait has a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Music from Brigham Young University, which they obtained from 1989 to 1991. Tyler then pursued further education at Heriot-Watt University, studying International Business and completing their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from 1992 to 1994.
