Alek Mendez is currently serving as a Student Promotions Editor at Arizona Public Media since February 2023. Prior to this role, Alek completed a Student Internship at Zero Gravity Management from August 2023 to December 2023, where responsibilities included conducting detailed script coverage for WGA feature submissions and assessing their marketability and story quality. Earlier experience includes working as a Sales Floor Team Member at Harkins Theatres from June 2021 to May 2023, providing quality service to a high volume of customers in a fast-paced environment. Alek started the professional journey as a Courtesy Clerk at Safeway from July 2020 to September 2021 and is pursuing education at the University of Arizona, expected to graduate in 2025.
