Javanshir Safarli

Javanshir Safarli has a diverse work experience in the banking and government sectors. Javanshir started their career in 2013 as an intern at the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan. In 2015, they joined Bank Standard Azerbaijan as a Customer Service Manager and later served as an Executive Assistant to the CEO.

In 2016, Javanshir Safarli joined AzerTurkBank, where they held various roles such as Senior Specialist in different departments, including Corporate Banking, Business Development, and Strategic Planning and Marketing. Javanshir also worked as the Head of Division and Team Leader in the Digital Transformation Center. Their most recent position at AzerTurkBank is the Acting Head of Department in the Business Process Management department.

Javanshir Safarli holds a Bachelor's degree in State and Municipal Management from The Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, earned from 2009 to 2013. Javanshir then pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management from Azerbaijan State University of Economics • UNEC, completing it between 2013 and 2017. In terms of additional certifications, Javanshir Safarli obtained various qualifications including PMP from the Project Management Institute, Google Project Management from Coursera, and Become a Product Manager from LinkedIn, all achieved in 2021. Javanshir has also acquired certifications such as the PROFESSIONAL SCRUM PRODUCT OWNER I and PROFESSIONAL SCRUM MASTER I from Scrum.org in 2019, among others.
