Kristof Balasanian is currently the Vice President at Aztec Electric Racing, where Kristof manages a team responsible for various aspects of the team's operations. Kristof has successfully raised over $460,000 through sponsorships, grants, and donations. As an Accumulator Engineer, Kristof developed a battery thermal model to optimize cell choice, sizing, cooling, and performance predictions. Additionally, as an Operations & Finance Member, Kristof created and presented business and cost scenario presentations for competitions. Kristof also has previous experience in leadership roles at SDSU and coaching at Mission Viejo Nadadores Swim Club. Kristof is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at San Diego State University.
