Shihan Fernando

Shihan Fernando, an experienced finance professional, currently serves as a Senior Fund Accountant at Aztec Group since November 2022. In this role, Shihan manages a diverse portfolio of funds and associated structures, overseeing all accounting aspects, including investor reports and statutory financial statements. Prior to this position, Shihan worked at Artex Risk Solutions as a Senior Fund Accountant, handling fund reconciliations, pricing, and financial statement preparations. Shihan’s earlier experience includes roles as a Fund Administration Supervisor and Fund Administrator at HSBC Electronic Data Processing Lanka Pvt Ltd. Shihan is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and holds qualifications from the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
