Martin Ryzl

Martin Ryzl has a strong background in software engineering and leadership roles. Martin is currently serving as the Senior Director of Engineering and Managing Director of Azul Cze since August 2021. Prior to this, Martin spent several years at MSD, where they held the positions of Executive Director, IT Global Software Engineering from June 2016 to July 2021, and Director, GIC Analytics Platform Engineering from July 2014 to June 2016. Before their time at MSD, Martin worked at BlackBerry as the Director of Software Development from April 2013 to June 2014, and as Director, Software Development from December 2010 to March 2013. Martin also had a brief stint at Oracle as a Sr. Software Engineering Manager from September 2010 to November 2010. Martin's career began at Sun Microsystems in 1999, where they held the role of Software Engineering Manager until 2007. Martin then transitioned to Sun as the Sr. Software Engineering Manager from 2007 to 2010. Martin's extensive work experience showcases their expertise in software engineering and their ability to lead and manage teams.

Martin Ryzl pursued their education in Computer Science from 1991 to 1997 at the Czech Technical University in Prague. During this time, they earned a degree known as "Ing." in Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, they obtained the certification of AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2020.
