Pavel Petroshenko

Pavel Petroshenko has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Pavel is currently a Senior Director of Product Management at Azul Systems since March 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Electric Imp, Inc. from 2016 to 2019, where they held the positions of Senior Software Engineering Lead and Senior Software Engineer. At Electric Imp, they were responsible for customer-facing software product development, proof-of-concepts for new solutions and technologies, and internal tools and infrastructure development.

Before joining Electric Imp, Pavel worked at Oracle from 2005 to 2016, where they held the roles of Consulting Member of Technical Staff and Principal Member of Technical Staff. At Oracle, they were involved in projects related to the implementation of native clients for Oracle Internet of Things Cloud Service, design and implementation of Internet of Things Cloud Service components, and development of Java Micro Edition Embedded Platforms.

Prior to Oracle, Pavel worked at Sun Microsystems as a Senior Software Engineer from September 2004 to March 2005. Pavel also has experience working as a Software Engineer and co-founder at Internet Services Ltd., where they developed a web messenger application, and as a Software Engineer at Star Software, where they worked on a Microsoft Power Point to Macromedia Flash converter.

From 2000 to 2006, Pavel Petroshenko pursued a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Applied Mathematics and Informatics at St. Petersburg State University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics in Russia.
