Carlos de Almeida

Carlos De Almeida is an experienced process engineer currently working at Azule Energy since August 2022, focusing on facilities engineering for Block 15/06 (NGOMA, OLOMBENDO & AGOGO FPSO). Prior to this role, Carlos worked at bp from December 2013 to July 2024, where responsibilities included offshore operations planning and production leadership across various FPSOs, including Block 31 PSVM. Carlos began their career with internships in subsea engineering and process technician training within BP, developing a solid foundation in risk assessment, operational procedures, and equipment management. Academically, Carlos holds a Master's degree in Project Management from The University of Salford and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Teesside University, complemented by multiple certifications in operations and maintenance.
