Industrial Design Manager at Azur Drones

Aurélien Saillet has a diverse range of work experience in the field of industrial design and engineering. Aurélien began their career at Astrium in 2012, where they conducted a study on the sustainability of a measurement acquisition bay. In 2013, they worked at INSIA, focusing on modeling the front structure of an urban bus and studying its deformation during collisions. Aurélien then joined Dassault Systèmes in 2014 for an internship in CATIA Brand User Experience. In the same year, they also worked at Aviation Design as a mechanical design engineer, where they modeled and designed drones and aircraft models. From 2016 to 2017, Aurélien worked at Parrot as an industrial design engineer, responsible for mechanical design, prototyping, and product industrialization. Currently, they work at Azur Drones as an Industrial Design Manager, leading the design and development of a groundbreaking autonomous surveillance drone solution called Skeyetech.

Aurélien Saillet's education history includes a Master's degree in User Experience Design (UxD) from the Université de Technologie de Compiègne (UTC), which they obtained from 2013 to 2014. Prior to that, from 2012 to 2013, they pursued a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. Aurélien also holds an Engineer's degree in Mechanical Engineering, earned from ESTIA from 2010 to 2012.
