Mark Cheverton began their work experience in 2004 as a Buyer for Wm Morrison Supermarkets Plc, where they were responsible for buying Exotic Vegetables, Mushrooms, and Traditional Vegetables. Mark also played a role in integrating and rationalizing the supply base during the merger with Safeway. In 2006, Mark joined Tesco PLC as a Buying Manager and later became the Online Senior Commercial Manager - Fresh. In this role, they managed the content for Tesco's online Meat Fish Poultry and Produce business and worked to increase category activity through buyers and suppliers using the online store format. In 2014, Mark joined Azura Group as the UK & ROI Commercial Director, where they oversee and manages Azura tomatoes for customers in the UK and ROI. Mark is responsible for delivering strong growth within premium and standard tomato categories and driving direct relationships with food service and retail customers to maximize freshness and commercial benefits.

Mark Cheverton obtained a BSc (Hons) degree in Agricultural Business Management from Wye College, University of London, where they studied from 1997 to 2000. In 2019, they completed a Finance For Executives program at INSEAD, focusing on Finance, General.
