Lilia Koza

Lilia Koza, Ph.D., currently serves as a Franchise Portfolio Management Fellow in CNS at Azurity Pharmaceuticals, beginning in September 2025. Prior to this role, Lilia worked as a Scientist at Tellus Therapeutics, Inc. from November 2023 to September 2025, contributing to the clinical development of therapeutic candidates and collaborating on assay optimization. Lilia's experience includes serving as an Associate Scientist at Opus Genetics, where contributions included investigational new drug reviews and data presentations, and as a Collaborative Graduate Research Intern at Resilience Code, focusing on clinical data analysis and publications. A Doctor of Philosophy in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology was earned from the University of Denver in 2022, building upon a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Concentration in Cognitive Neuroscience received in 2017. Additional roles include research and teaching positions at the University of Denver and the Knoebel Institute for Healthy Aging, where Lilia engaged in preclinical studies and educational instruction.
