Phillip Shilling has extensive work experience spanning various roles and industries. Phillip currently holds the position of Vice President of Business Operations at Azurity Pharmaceuticals, where they oversee company development, daily operations, and staff activities. Previously, they served as Lead Director at Aetna, a CVS Health Company. Prior to that, they worked at CVS Health in several roles, including Senior Product Manager, Senior Client Product Manager, Program Manager, Senior Project Manager, and Project Manager. Additionally, they worked as an Education Project Manager at SmithBucklin and participated in the National Urban League Internship Program. Phillip began their career at Apple as a Genius, where they gained customer-facing experience and implemented new strategies within the Genius team.

Phillip Shilling obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Journalism (Social Media Integration) from DePaul University, where they studied from 2009 to 2012. In addition, they earned another Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Government from the same university, completing their studies in the same period.

Phillip has also obtained several certifications in their field. In April 2019, Phillip received the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from Scrum Alliance. In October 2019, they obtained the SAFe 4 Practitioner Certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. Most recently, in August 2020, they became a Certified SAFe® 5 Practitioner, also awarded by Scaled Agile, Inc.
