Maritza Martinez

Maritza Martinez is a professional with extensive experience in educational support and bilingual communication. Currently serving as a Spanish Interpreter for Azusa Unified School District since November 2022, Maritza previously worked as an Educational Community Worker - Bilingual Spanish with the Los Angeles County Office of Education from September 2019 to November 2022, where responsibilities included building family engagement and connecting families with essential resources through the UCLA and DMH Community School Initiative. Maritza also held positions as a Safety Coordinator - Culture Coordinator at Equitas Academy Charter Schools and as a Service Advisor at Haaker Equipment Company / Total Clean. Additionally, Maritza worked as an After School Program Teacher/Coach for the ASES After School Program Hacienda Heights. Maritza holds a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from California State University, Los Angeles and an Associate of Arts in Communication from Mt. San Antonio College.
