Wayne Kalama

Wayne Kalama is a seasoned freelance designer with extensive experience in paper engineering, design, and illustration primarily in children's publishing and film. Since January 1994, Wayne has contributed to The Walt Disney Company, showcasing expertise in creating paper engineering and design. Additionally, Wayne has been assisting special needs children in the classroom since January 2008 with AZUSA UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT. Notable freelance projects include work for Random House Inc., providing illustration and paper-engineering services for significant productions such as Disney's "Atlantis" and Lucasfilm's "Star Wars: Attack of the Clones." Earlier roles include freelance design at Walter Foster Publishing and Pangea Editorial, and paper engineering positions at Compass Productions and Intervisual Communications Inc. Wayne holds an Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts and is continuing education at ArtCenter College of Design and California State Polytechnic University-Pomona.
