Stefan Porter is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the food and retail sectors. Currently serving as the Group Commercial Director at Azzurri Group since March 2022, Stefan holds group-wide commercial responsibility and oversees the Purchasing & Supply Chain function, ESG strategy, and energy procurement. Prior to this, Stefan was the Senior Buying Director at Lidl GB, managing multiple buying divisions and reporting directly to the Board of Directors, and previously held significant roles in buying and leadership at Lidl UK. Stefan also founded Heartier, a local farm shop butcher, and worked as an FMCG consultant, advising numerous prestigious clients on strategic market opportunities. Educational credentials include a degree in Modern Languages and Modern European History from the University of Cambridge, complemented by a strong academic background from RGS Worcester.
