Juarez Miranda has extensive work experience in various roles related to transportation, logistics, procurement, operations, and supply chain management.

Juarez currently works for B. Braun Group as the Head of Transportation & Logistics Operations in Brazil, overseeing 6 distribution centers, a team of 100 employees, and four 3PLs. Their responsibilities include optimizing operational efficiency, customer service, and business growth through the implementation of new operating models and capabilities.

Prior to their current role, Juarez was a Procurement General Manager at UnitedHealth Group, where they managed an annual spend of R$4.2B and focused on cost reduction, operational efficiency, innovation, and digitalization.

Juarez also served as the Operations Director at Santa Casa de Misericórdia de São Paulo, leading a team of 250 and implementing an Operations Transformation Program to improve supply chain optimization and service levels.

Earlier in their career, Juarez held positions at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, PPG Industries, and General Motors, where they gained experience in business development, supply chain strategy, procurement, and international trade.

Juarez Miranda has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Campinas, which was obtained from 1990 to 1993. Juarez also completed an Executive MBA in Master Degree in Business Management from the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business from 2005 to 2006. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a certification in "Administração Estratégica de Compras" from FIA Business School in 2017.
