Tomica Divic

Tomica Divic has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Tomica started their career as a Teacher's Assistant at the University of Zagreb/Sveuciliste u Zagrebu in 2000. From 2004 to 2006, they worked as an Associate at Juric Law Offices, specializing in international corporate law and serving clients including financial institutions and Fortune 500 companies. Tomica then transitioned to the role of Senior PR Associate at SutherlandGold Group, a public relations agency focused on early-stage consumer technology and digital media companies, from 2006 to 2009. In 2009, they worked in Marketing and Communications at YWCA of Vancouver. Following this, they became an Independent Contractor, working as an Interpreter in English, French, and Croatian from 2000 to 2010. In 2011, they founded Atomically Consulting as a sole proprietor before moving on to BCIC (BC Innovation Council) as a Development Manager from 2011 to 2012 and then as Director of Operations from 2013 to 2015. From 2015 to 2018, they served as the Managing Director of Operations at Innovate BC (formerly BC Innovation Council). Currently, they hold the positions of Vice President Operations and Interim CEO at Innovate BC starting in 2018. Throughout their career, Tomica has demonstrated strong leadership skills, management abilities, and expertise in various industries.

Tomica Divic completed a LLB in Law at the University of Zagreb / Sveučilište u Zagrebu from 1997 to 2002. Tomica then pursued further education and obtained a LLM in International Business Law from Central European University in 2003. In the same year, they also earned a Diploma in International Business Law from TMC Asser Institute. Prior to their university studies, they attended Prva Jezicna Gimnazija (High School) in Split from 1993 to 1997.
