Deepanshu Pattanayak

Deepanshu Pattanayak currently serves as a Principal and Seed Investor at B Capital since February 2022. Prior to this role, Deepanshu was a Principal at Pravega Ventures from March 2020 to December 2021, focusing on Seed and Series A investments in sectors such as SaaS, devtools, fintech, and consumer tech. Deepanshu's previous experience includes a progression at Bain & Company, where the roles included Senior Consultant, Consultant, Senior Associate Consultant, and Associate Consultant from July 2016 to March 2020. An internship at Social Alpha in 2016 involved assisting Meghshala with business planning and pricing strategies. Deepanshu also had a summer analyst role at The Blackstone Group in 2015, contributing to investment analysis and asset valuation. An earlier software development internship at Samsung in 2013 resulted in co-inventing a patent and receiving a pre-placement offer. Deepanshu holds an MBA in Finance from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
