Bob Bates

Bob Bates has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Bob is currently working as a Senior SDR at B Generous, a venture-backed FinTech company that aims to address the underserved donor nonprofit market in the U.S. Prior to this, Bob worked as a Licensed Sales Producer at Maverick & Associates. Bob also gained experience as an Account Executive and Business Development Representative at Blackbaud, where they worked on sales and business development activities. Before their time at Blackbaud, Bob served as a Sales Executive at Wyndham Vacation Ownership. Bob also has experience in the education sector, having worked as a High School Mathematics Teacher at Low Country Leadership Charter School. In addition, Bob worked as a Strategic Recruitment Consultant at Ellington Growth Partners LLC., where they focused on strategic recruitment initiatives. Prior to that, they held leadership positions as a Senior Pastor/Chief Officer at Grace Coastal Church and Northpointe Presbyterian Church. Bob started their career as an Associate Pastor at Bethel Presbyterian Church.

Bob Bates attended The Citadel from 1985 to 1989 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. After a gap of several years, in 2013, they enrolled in the Physical Therapy Assistant Program at South University and completed their studies in 2015. Additionally, from 1989 to 1993, Bob Bates pursued a Master of Divinity degree in Theology/Theological Studies at Reformed Theological Seminary.
