Jay Odell

Jay Odell is an experienced executive with a strong background in the nonprofit sector and technology. Currently serving as an Advisory Board Member at B Generous since August 2021, Jay is involved with a FinTech company focused on underserved donor markets. Jay has been the Chairman of the Board and Chair of the Development Committee at Lions Vision Services since June 2019, where efforts are directed toward preventing blindness and assisting the visually impaired. Prior to these roles, Jay held multiple senior positions at Blackbaud from 2004 to 2021, including President of Nonprofit Solutions, where notable achievements include significant profit margin improvement and the launch of products generating 50% of the company's annual revenue. Jay's earlier experience included leadership roles at FreeMarkets and McKinsey and Company, complemented by a solid educational foundation with degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Rice University and an MBA from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
