Phillip Ross

Phillip Ross has extensive work experience, beginning in 2001 when they worked as support staff and assistant to the Department Chair for Multimedia at Portland Community College. In 2005, they worked as a researcher at Klarquist Sparkman, LLP, where they developed a strong research skill set and appreciation of Patent prosecution and Trademark law. From 2007 to 2018, they were the Co-Founder of Metrofiets Cargo Bicycles, where they led all aspects of the business, including Lean design based manufacturing, product development, operations, brand strategy, business planning, and sales. In 2011, they became the producer and co-creator of The Pedal Powered Talk Show. From 2018 to 2019, they were the Operations Manager at Hybrid Tech. From 2019 to 2020, they were the Managing Partner at PMR(MG) and the Interim Director of Operations at Filmed By Bike. Currently, they are the Director of Sales and Marketing at B-Line Sustainable Urban Delivery.

Phillip Ross obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication from Portland State University in 2005, graduating Cum Laude. Phillip has obtained several certifications since then, including a Workshopper Master certification from AJ&Smart in June 2022, a DESIGNING A BUSINESS certification from IDEO U in December 2019, a Designing Strategy certification from IDEO in October 2019, an Agile Crash Course: Agile Project Management certification from Udemy in September 2018, a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Professional certification from Six Sigma Global Institute in September 2018, and a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification from GoLeanSixSigma.com in September 2018.
