Andy Howells

Andy Howells is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in electrical and electronic engineering across various sectors, including automotive, aerospace, and military. Currently serving as the Director of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at B–ON, Andy oversees the delivery of vehicle EE systems and contributes to novel engineering solutions as Group Chief Engineer. Prior roles include Director at Systemise Engineering Ltd, Solution Engineering Manager at Thales, and Head of Department at Changan UK R&D Centre Limited, where Andy advanced powertrain control systems. With a solid foundation from MBDA and the UK Ministry of Defence, Andy is recognized for expertise in Model Based Engineering and Systems Engineering practices, supported by a postgraduate diploma in management and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
