Edie Dillman has a diverse work experience in various industries. In 1996, they started Small Fires LLC, where they provided practical business coaching and operational services to creative individuals and companies. Edie also worked as an Art Director and Photo Editor at Outside Magazine from 2003 to 2011. In 2012, they became the Art + Photo Director and Associate Publisher at New Mexico Magazine until 2017. From 2017 to 2019, they served as the Director of Strategy and Communications at Innovate+Educate, a nonprofit focused on creating employment pathways. In 2016, they became a Board Member at the SANTA FE ART INSTITUTE, promoting artistic inquiry and understanding. In 2020, they joined NAPHN (North American Passive House Network) as a Board Member, supporting the transformation of the built environment to combat global warming. Most recently, they co-founded and became a Partner at B.Public in 2019, a high-performance prefab envelope building system company. Additionally, they served as a Board Member at the Center for Contemporary Arts Santa Fe from 2001 to 2004.
Edie Dillman pursued their undergraduate education at Scripps College between the years 1988 and 1992. Edie graduated from Scripps College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Art.
