Jonah Stanford

Jonah Stanford has diverse work experience in the construction and building design industry. Jonah is currently the co-founder and CTO of B.Public Prefab, a woman-owned public benefit corporation that specializes in panelized off-site construction systems. The company aims to reduce carbon footprint and enhance comfort and low-energy performance. Prior to this, Jonah served as the Founding Principal of NEEDBASED inc since 1997, where they demonstrated expertise in resilient high-performance building design. Additionally, they were a Founding Board Member of Passive House Institute US- PHIUS from 2008 to 2011. Jonah also worked in real-estate development at Homewise Lending, LLC from 2007 to 2009 and as a project manager at Crocker Ltd from 2001 to 2007. Throughout their career, Jonah consistently focused on environmental sustainability and finding innovative solutions to improve the quality and value of their work.

Jonah Stanford began their education in 1997 at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, where they pursued a degree in Fine Art. Jonah completed this program in the year 2000. Following this, they enrolled at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2000 and graduated with an Undergrad degree in Fine Art in 2002. Jonah continued their education at the University of Twente, where they obtained a Post-bac degree in Fine Art between the years 2002 and 2005.
