Bertrand Chenal

Bertrand Chenal is a seasoned technical expert with a diverse background in software development and engineering. Currently serving as a Technical Expert at B12 Consulting since January 2023, Bertrand previously held the position of Senior Software Engineer at ENGIE Global Energy Management & Sales, where responsibilities included data management for the short-term power business unit. Bertrand's earlier experience includes creating innovative software solutions at Adimian, such as Higgins, a Python-based alternative to Jenkins, and Flask-Menger, a plugin for generating custom reports. Bertrand also served as President of the Board at the Tryton Foundation and contributed to inter-university authentication infrastructure for F.R.S - FNRS. Co-founding b2ck, Bertrand was involved in various aspects of the company, while earlier roles included junior development at Tiny sprl and research at FUNDP. Bertrand completed education at Université de Namur from 1999 to 2006.
