Kyriakos Liakopoulos

Kyriakos Liakopoulos has a diverse work experience starting in 2007. From 2007 to 2009, they worked at CERN as a Software Engineer, where they developed back-end and front-end web applications using Python, JQuery, AJAX, CSS, MySQL, JSON, and Git. In 2011, they joined EUROPEAN DYNAMICS as a Java Software Engineer. From 2015 to 2016, they co-founded B2BWave, a company providing an E-commerce solution for wholesalers. Kyriakos was responsible for full-stack Ruby-on-Rails web development, customization of the core product for clients, and integration with external accounting systems. In 2016, Kyriakos joined Upstream as a Senior Software Engineer, participating in the implementation and maintenance of their mobile marketing platform and high-traffic web portal products. Kyriakos worked with technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka, ElasticSearch, React, Thymeleaf, and microservices. In 2019, they co-founded B2B Wave and assumed the role of Co-Founder and CTO.

Kyriakos Liakopoulos completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the National Kapodistrian University of Athens from 2003 to 2009. Later, from 2009 to 2011, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Information Systems from the Athens University of Economics and Business.
