David Millan

David Millan, Ph.D. has extensive work experience in data, analytics, and AI roles. David is currently serving as the Chief Data & Analytics Officer at B2Holding ASA. Previous to this, they worked at Unilever as the Head of Data, Analytics & AI, EMEA, where they were responsible for defining and executing the enterprise data and insight strategy. David also served as the Global Head of Data at Unilever, overseeing data governance, quality, and ethics. Prior to Unilever, David worked at Vodafone as the Group Head of Data Science and AI and later as the Director of Big Data & Advanced Analytics. David designed and implemented data and AI products, supported local markets, and optimized company processes using AI and machine learning. Before Vodafone, David held the position of Senior Vice President at Etisalat, where they built and executed advanced analytical products. David also has experience at Oracle, Pragsis Bidoop, Telefonica Innovation, RENFE (TIFSA), and the University of Edinburgh.

David Millan, Ph.D. received their initial education at the Universidad de Granada, where they obtained a B.Sc. in Computer Science and Business Management in 2004. Following this, they pursued further studies at The University of Edinburgh in 2005, earning an M.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence with a focus on machine learning.
