John Hoar

John Hoar is a Project Manager and Designer at B2Q Associates, Inc. since June 2018. Prior experience includes a Mechanical Engineering Intern role at WindESCo, where algorithms were developed in Matlab for wind turbine characteristics, components were manufactured and tested, and outreach efforts to wind farm engineers were conducted. Prior to WindESCo, John served as an Engineering Intern at Massachusetts Water Resource, assisting with power plant upgrades and designing specifications for testing enclosures. John began their career as a Supplemental Instruction Leader for Thermodynamics at UMass Amherst, guiding students through course material. John holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, earned in 2018.
