Matt Candler

Matt Candler is an experienced professional with a diverse background in energy storage and education sectors. Currently serving as General Partner at Batteries Included Fund since January 2023, Candler invests in innovative energy storage solutions. As a Coach for My Next Electric, Candler supports individuals transitioning to electric solutions. Further contributions include advising B2U Storage Solutions on repurposing used EV batteries for grid storage and mentoring at Techstars in the Energy Tech division. Candler's entrepreneurial expertise includes past roles as CEO of 4.0 and New Schools for New Orleans, as well as COO at the New York City Charter School Center. Educational credentials include an MBA in Decision Sciences and Non-Profit Management from Northwestern University and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Spanish from Duke University.
