Amparo Nalvarte García is the CEO and Co-founder of B89, a company focused on conscious banking, since January 2020. In addition to this role, Amparo serves on the Board of Advisors for Nirex and as an Angel Investor for Rextie. As a Professor of Executive Education at Pacifico Business School, Amparo shares expertise in business administration. Past experiences include serving as an Advisory Committee Member for Govtech Perú, founding and leading Culqi, a payment gateway, and working on private investment projects in tourism with the Ministerio de Comercio Exterior y Turismo. Amparo's career has also included roles in Human Resources at Belcorp and Collective Labour Relations at Telefonica del Peru, as well as serving as Vice President of External Relations for AIESEC. Amparo holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Universidad del Pacífico and completed a student exchange program in Business and Management at Jönköping International Business School.
