Mauro Corio has over 10 years of experience in the chemical industry. Mauro started their career at Huntsman in 2010 as a PU Assistant Sr Experimental, where they were involved in various aspects of project development, including ideation, small-scale testing, industrial simulation, and physical and instrumental testing. In 2015, they joined Baalbaki Chemical Industries (BCI) as a PU Technical Service & Development specialist. In this role, they contributed to the development of polyol systems for rigid polyurethane insulation and provided technical support to both existing and potential clients. Afterward, they were promoted to Head of R&D and QA/QC at BCI, where they were responsible for laboratory activities, team coordination, QA/QC supervision, and technical assistance to clients.
From 2007 to 2009, Mauro Corio attended Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca, where they obtained a Laurea Specialistica degree in Scienze e Tecnologie Chimiche.
