Founded in 1997, Bab Ishtar Group began its journey as a main contractor, establishing a reputation for quality, reliability, and innovation in Qatar’s construction sector. Over the years, we have diversified into multiple industries, creating a strong and sustainable group that continues to evolve with the nation’s growth.

In 2017, we expanded into manufacturing with the launch of Bab Ishtar for Manufacturing, which operates leading facilities including Steelers Qatar, Bin Nisf Block Factory, and Bab Ishtar for Woodworks & Aluminum. This division strengthens Qatar’s industrial base by delivering high-quality products and solutions.

In 2019, we further diversified into hospitality with the creation of Bab Ishtar Group for Hospitality & Restaurant Management. Today, we proudly manage some of Qatar’s most recognized culinary and lifestyle brands—Al-Falamanki, Al-Kalha, Yee Hwa The Place, Mario & Mario, and Tawlet Yvonne —as well as the Millennium Place Doha, a five-star hotel delivering world-class hospitality experiences.

Driven by our commitment to growth, efficiency, and sustainability, Bab Ishtar Group continues to build on its heritage while embracing innovation and modernization. Our strategy is closely aligned with Qatar’s National Vision 2030, as we contribute to economic diversification and sustainable development across construction, manufacturing, and hospitality.

We are more than a group of companies—we are a platform for progress, dedicated to delivering value, creating opportunities, and shaping a stronger future for Qatar.
